FACTS
Q. What is
included in the visit?
The visit includes everything your pets need for a safe and engaging time while
you are out of town. For dogs it includes walking, playtime, ear scratches,
tummy rubs, fresh water, feeding and brushing if needed. For cats, visits
include litter maintenance, feeding, fresh water, playtime and cuddles. Also,
basic house maintenance is included to keep you house looking lived in.
(Rotating blinds & lights, watering plants, bringing in the mail, etc.) If you
have a pet that isn’t a feline or a canine, no worries. Just let us know! We’ve
looked after turtles, birds, rats, rabbits and fish
Q. How are
my keys handled?
In order to make it easier for you and your pet sitter, we can keep your key in
a secure place, for future pet sitting engagements. Or we will return the key
to you in person.
Q. I
actually need someone to visit my pooch mid-day while I’m at work. Do you offer
that?
Totally. Check out our Dog Walking services.
Q. Do you
care for your client’s pets in your home?
We do not offer pet sitting services in our home. We offer care in your home
environment to minimize the effects of separation anxiety. Using a pet sitter in
your own home places less mental and emotional stress on your pet when you leave
town. Your pets will stay in their home environment with all of it’s smells and
familiarity. We can also make your home looked "lived in" for added security by
opening and closing curtains, bringing in mail/newspapers, and turning on and
off lights
Q. How
many times a day will you visit?
That’s totally up to you! We require at least 2 visits per day for dogs (per
full day when you are out of town), but we recommend three. (Your dog will
recommend it too!) We require once a day visitation for cats, but they’ll never
argue with two visits a day. We’re completely flexible to meet your needs.
Q.
When do you visit Pets?
We’re here to mind your pet when you need us - 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Normal visiting hours are between 8AM
and 9PM. We’re
totally flexible to meet you needs.
Q. What areas do you service? South Nashville, La Vergne, Smyrna & Murfreesboro
Q. How do
you keep my home and possessions secure?
Your security is one of our top priorities. We WILL NEVER wear any type of
promotional or advertising clothing into your home. (T-Shirts, sweatshirts, or
bags with our logo/contact information on them.) We will never arrive at your
house in a vehicle with promotional signs or banners on it. Advertising pet
sitting via clothing or cars while making pet care visits simply sends a clear
sign to would-be-intruders, “This person is not home.” It’s fantastic
advertising for the company, but less security to you. And you’re our focus.
(You and your pets that is!) Also, we are bonded and background checked so you
can feel at ease with us.
Q. Will I
always have the same sitter, or will there be someone new coming in my house
each time I book?
We know how daunting it is to place the life of your best friend in someone
else’s hands when you aren’t there. Here we work hard so that you can build a
relationship with your sitter. It’s part of our Philosophy. We will set you up
with a primary sitter (who will do MOST of your sitting/walking) and a back-up
sitter in case your sitter isn’t available, sick or injured.
(NOTE: If you want to be assured that the same sitter will always be caring for
your Pet, it’s best to book services as soon as your travel plans are set.)
