Policy , Service and Rates
1. Mid-day visit of
approximately 30 minutes for one or two dogs consisting of a “let-out” and/or
brief on-leash walk, All poop is scooped during walks - it's considerate, a treat client provides, refreshed water and play, attention &
affection for client’s dogs. The rate for this service is $13.50 per visit
during normal business hours.
2. Mid-day visit of at least 45 minutes, guaranteed for one or two dogs,
consisting of a “let-out” and/or on-leash walk, All poop is scooped during walks - it's considerate, a treat client provides or authorizes,
refreshed water and play, attention & affection for client’s dogs.
The rate for this service is $16.00 per visit during normal business hours.
We do offer 1 hour visits/walks for $18.00 per visit.
3. Any visit requested before 8:00AM, will be considered an “After Hours
Visit” and will be charged at a rate of $21.00 per visit.
4. Any visit requested between the hours of 8:45 PM and 6:00 AM will be
considered an “Extended Hours Visit” and will be charged at a rate of $30.00 per
visit (30 minute visit).
5. We DO NOT Charge extra for Holidays
POLICIES
1. Normal business hours for
Doggie Diva Pet Sitter are from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM.
2. For calendar year , dates that are designated as “Holiday” will be:NONE. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will be open for
service on these dates at per-visit rates described in item #3 under "SERVICES &
RATES" above.
3. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter considers itself “open for business” on all other
Federal Holidays, unless otherwise notified. If a Federal Holiday falls on a day
of the week our client’s pet(s) is normally scheduled for a visit and our client
will be home, it is our client’s responsibility to notify Doggie Diva Pet Sitter
and cancel the scheduled visit. The normal cancellation policy (item #6 under
“Policies” below) applies.
4. We will make every reasonable effort to honor any request for a specific
“visit time window”, but be advised that we cannot guarantee a specific time or
time window each day. Our very first priority every day is the safety of our
client’s pet(s), and events may arise in fulfilling that priority that could
alter the schedule on any particular day. In the event of significant alteration
of schedule, we will exercise our “back-up” system.
5. Once our client has selected our client’s preferred service plan (15
minute visit/30 minute visit), a change from the 15-minute visit to the
30-minute guaranteed visit can only be accomplished if space is available.
6. If, for any reason on a day Doggie Diva Pet Sitter is scheduled to visit,
our client determines he/she will not need Doggie Diva Pet Sitter to make that
visit, simply telephone before they knock on our client’s door and there will be
no charge for the visit. If Doggie Diva Pet Sitter arrives at our client’s door
and knocks; the visit will be charged at the minimum regular rate (or $21.00 for
“After Hours”, and $30.00 for “Extended Hours”).
7. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will make every reasonable effort to visit our
client’s pet(s) even in inclement weather. If our respective 4-wheel-drive
vehicles fail to negotiate road conditions, or all roads between Doggie Diva Pet
Sitter and our client’s pet(s) are closed, we will notify our client
immediately.
8. If client uses other in-home services (i.e. cleaning service), it will be
the client's responsibility to insure that those other services are aware that
Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will be accessing your home to visit and/or walk your
dog(s). We have had the experience of other in-home services refusing to allow
us free access to our client's home because they did not know we were authorized
to enter the house. For the sake of safety, Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will never
enter the client's home when anyone in the house, whether family or employee of
the client, opposes our entry. We will attempt to notify our client of the
problem immediately, wait approximately 10 minutes for resolution, and then go
on to our next appointment. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will charge, at minimum, our
basic service rate of $13.50 (depending on the amount of time taken to resolve
the matter, and whether the service is during normal or after hours).
9. In the event that Doggie Diva Pet Sitter determines that our client’s pet
requires immediate medical attention, we will make every reasonable effort to
contact our client at every emergency contact telephone number our client has
supplied to us. If we are unable to contact our client, we will attempt to
transport our client’s pet(s) to the veterinarian our client has specified on a
veterinary release form. Failing that, we will attempt to transport our client’s
pet(s) to a veterinarian of our choosing. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will not be
responsible for any medical charges incurred for our client’s pet(s).
10. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will only permit our client’s pet(s) to be
off-leash outdoors in our client’s physically fenced yard. If our client’s yard
is enclosed by an “electronic fence”, we will only take our client’s dog(s)
outside on-leash. We do not take any dog to “off-leash dog parks”.
11. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter will not enter the yard or home of a
dog that is showing signs of aggression. If we arrive at our client’s home and
our client’s dog is behaving aggressively, we will notify our client immediately
of the situation and our inability to serve our client’s dog.
12. Our bank currently charges us $6.00 for each check we have deposited that
is returned for insufficient funds. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter , in turn, will
recover that loss by adding a returned check charge of $6.00 to your account and
your account will be a cash only or money order account.
13. There is no minimum term of service on this Service Agreement between
Doggie Diva Pet Sitter and our clients. Either party may cancel this
Service Agreement at any time without prior notice. Cancellation of this
agreement must be in writing and signed by the signer of this agreement. House
keys will be returned, and any overpayments refunded, to the signer of the
cancellation of service notice. Unpaid balances must be paid when house keys are
returned.
14. The second priority ofDoggie Diva Pet Sitter , behind the safety and well
being of your pet(s), is the security of your home. We pledge to safeguard your
key(s) and security information while in our possession, and will not associate
your key(s) or security data with any information that links them with you or
your home. Your key(s) is kept on our person while making visits, and kept under
lock and key otherwise.
19. Services, Rates, and Policies may be subject to change without notice.
20. Doggie Diva Pet Sitter reserves the right to refuse service to anyone
for any reason.
